People are afraid to say the wrong thing, to smile and feel joy, to wear the wrong clothes, to go on vacation, to love, to leave, to simply be themselves. Because in one moment, to someone, you may suddenly become a stranger.

This is an uncontrollable situation that can only teach one thing – to be true to yourself, to your desires, and not be afraid of losing someone or something. Because the scariest thing is to lose yourself and your loved ones.

We used to talk about this quite recently, about the moment and the importance of being present in it, feeling it, filling up with it, living it.

Now, everyone understands the meaning of these words because we have two days a year when we can’t do anything. This is the past and the future. We can’t change them, but we have one day to change everything that we want to see – today.

Start today, open up, feel, act, experience, loyalty, freedom, joy, lightness, tenderness, and anger, and sadness. Everything that has always been and is everything you need right now. And everything we can change today – is today.

Were we children, remember?

Those are probably the best memories when you recall only the loud and happy laughter and tight embraces.

“I love you so much – so much – this is it.” And you hug so tightly that it’s hard to breathe because you’re so strong.

People feel this at different times in their lives. I felt it at 6 years old, I felt it at 16 and 24, and I will feel it any day… if only that person was the one with whom you truly experience it. If only there was someone to whom you said, “Remember?”
